The Calcutta Timber Merchants Association (CTMA), established in 1935, is committed to upholding lawful trade practices, ethical conduct, and responsible governance within the timber industry of Kolkata and West Bengal. For nearly nine decades, the Association has served as a pillar of stability and collective representation for the timber trade community.

The Compliance & Support Desk functions as a structured platform serving both registered members and external stakeholders who seek guidance, coordination, clarification, or assistance in matters related to the timber trade. While CTMA is not a statutory authority, it plays an important role in fostering transparency, encouraging compliance awareness, and facilitating constructive dialogue between members, businesses, regulatory bodies, and the wider public.
